Kama Wangchen: Celebrating National Day with Chabjay Namkhai Ningpo Rinpoche in Phuntsholing. Happy National Day to all fellow citizens. Pelden Drukpa Gaylo..may happiness prevail on earth.

Chabjay Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche presided the Ngagyur Kamai Wangchen where more than 50,000 devotees gathered in Phuentsholing. The Wangchen was administered for a period of two months (2/12/11-2/2/12). It was the second such ceremony to be conducted in the Kingdom. The first one was administered in 1983 by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche at Kurjey in Bumthang.

To receive Wang and Lung Some of the devotees had come from as far as Taiwan, Malaysia, Nepal and the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

The Wangchen ended with grand Tshok offering to 3 Roots & Dharmapalas as a token of gratitude. The Prime Minister Lyonchen Jigme Y. Thinley offered Kusung Thukten Mandalas to H.H Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche. 

H.H was scheduled to travel to
Ngaglam(south central Bhutan) to conduct Phurpai Drupchen(Vajrakilaya Sadhana) week long via Gelephu in the following week.

The Kama Wang devotees were not only fortunate to get oral transmission & empowerment of Kama but were very glad to have done some good things together during past 2 months for all beings for world peace & to bring swifter perfect enlightenment for all sentient beings the followings were conducted;

• Recitation of 10 million(dungdrub) mantra of Vajrakilaya(Phurpa)

• Recitation of 10 million mantra of Khando Singye Dongma(lion faced Dakini)

• Recitation of 10 million mantra of Guru Padmasambhava

• Recitation of 10 million Mani mantra of Avalokiteshvara(Chenrizik)

• Recitation of 10 million mantra of Amitabha (Sangay Opakmed)

• Recitation of 10 million mantra of Vajrasatva(Yigjha)

• Saved 30 cattles from the hands of buchers through personal monetary donation volunterily

• Tshok Bum 100 thousand Tshok offerings

• Recitation of 100 thousand Refuge prayers

• Recitation of 100 thousand 7 line vajra prayers of Padmasambhava, etc……
